Duygu ŞENDURUR

Duygu Şendurur was born in Ankara, 1988.

She began her musical journey at 1996 as a chorist in Ministry of Culture State Polyphonic Children Choir, she performed in pieces such as Carmen Opera and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.

She started her music education at Ankara Anatolian High School Of Fine Arts with piano and percussion instruments . In 2004, she was invited to European Music High School Assembly at Graz,Austria. In 2010, she graduated from Gazi Üniversity Faculty of Music Education Music Teaching Department.

She attended seminars in Turkey between 2013-2015 for Orff -Schulwerk Elementary Music and Movement Education. In 2016, she finished “Training Trainer” courses in Turkey and became a Orff trainer.

In 2017, she completed the Special Course in Austria Salzburg Mozarteum University Orff Institute for “Advanced Studies in Music and Dance – Orff Schulwerk”. Since then, she has been giving seminars in Turkey for “Güher &Süher Pekinel Orff Music Education in Anatolia”. Also, she is teaching music to children and adults.

Ece Barboros was born in İzmir, in 1990.

Ece Barboros studied music teaching education at the “Dokuz Eylül University” in Turkey from 2008 to 2012. In 2017 got her MSc in Pamukkale University Education Department, Music Education Program. In the meantime, she completed an Education Program in Leadership at “Çağdaş Drama Derneği” in 2010. She has been accepted to another MSc Program in 2016 from “Ege Üniversitesi Pre-School Education Department” and continues her studies.

She completed the three Level Courses of the Turkish Orff Association in 2015 and in 2017 she concluded a professional development course for teaching teachers.

In the years 2018-2019, she participated in the Special Course “Advanced Studies in Music and Dance Education” at the Mozarteum University/ Orff Institute with the scholarship by “Güher & Süher Pekinel for “Orff Music Education in Anatolia”.

Currently, she is also teaching children and adults.

Ece BARBOROS

Ezgi TATAR

Ezgi Tatar was born in Denizli, in 1985.

She studied music teaching education at the Dokuz Eylül University in Turkey from 2003 to 2007.

She completed the three Level Courses of the Turkish Orff Association in 2015 and in 2016 she concluded a professional development course for teaching teachers.

Ezgi participated in the 2016-2017 Special Course: “Advanced Studies in Music and Dance Education” at the Mozarteum University/ Orff Institute with the scholarship by “Güher & Süher Pekinel for “Orff Music Education in Anatolia”.

Since then she has been giving seminars in Turkey for the Anatolia Orff Education mentored and led by Güher & Süher Pekinel Anatolia Orff-Schulwerk Elemental Music and Dance.

She completed New European Mentorship Programme in Orff-Schulwerk Pedagogy in 2019. Currently, she is also teaching children and adults.

İlkay Nişancı was born in Konya, 1983.

He graduated in “Music Teaching Education” at the Selçuk University in Turkey in 2010.

He completed the three Level Courses of the Turkish Orff Association in 2015 and in 2016 he concluded a professional development course for teaching teachers.

In 2018 İlkay has been selected by “Güher & Süher Pekinel Orff Music Education in Anatolia ” and completed the Special Course at Austria Salzburg Mozarteum University / Orff Institute for “Advanced Studies in Music and Dance” with the scholarship by “Güher & Süher Pekinel for “Orff Music Education in Anatolia”.

As part of the foundation, İlkay teaches to pre-school and music teachers from different cities and state schools in Turkey with Orff-Schulwerk Approach.

He is accepted New European Mentorship Programme in Orff-Schulwerk Pedagogy in 2019.

He studied Latin and African music as well. He is carrying on his studies with various percussive end effective instruments.

Currently, he is also teaching children and adults.

İlkay NİŞANCI

Senem ÖZYOĞURTÇU

Senem Özyoğurtcu was born in Ankara, 1982.From 1996-2007, she studies cello and piano and graduated from the “Music Teaching” department in Gazi University in Turkey.

She completed her master’s degree in educational science department in the same university. Between these years she participated various concerts in the Czech Republic, Poland, France, Italy, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania and Austria.

She attended various seminars in Orff Schulwerk, both in Turkey and Salzburg. In 2008 she completed US Kindermusik (online) program. Senem Özyoğurtcu completed Orff level courses in Turkey. In 2016, she finished “Training Trainer” courses in Turkey and became a trainer.

Senem Özyogurtcu and Z. Melis Milli had published “Turkish Music with Orff Schulwerk” in 2017. This is the first book which presents Turkish Music by using Orff approach. She is also one of the publishers of the “Monolog” magazine, which is producing educational content since 2016. In 2018, the book “Orff Schulwerk with Stories” was published with Z. Melis Milli. In 2018 she received a scholarship from Güher & Süher Pekinel to attend the Orff Institute Salzburg at the Mozarteum University (Special Course 2018-2019).

In 2019-2020 she’s been accepted to the “Music and Dance in Integrative Education” program at the Mozarteum-Orff Institute. Her next book was published in of 2019.

Senem Özyoğurtcu composes children songs and instrument pieces by using Turkish music with Orff Approach.

Sıtkı Sencer Özbay was born in İstanbul, 1979.

He graduated from Müjdat Gezen Art Center Conservatory in Major: Classic Guitar in 2001, further in 2007 he finished Kocaeli University Fine Arts Faculty Music Department in Ensembles Major: Contrabasse. He completed his M.D. in Yeditepe University Institute of Educational Sciences in 2010 with a degree of honour. In the meantime, he also completed an Education Program in Leadership at Çağdaş Drama Derneği.

He completed the three Level Courses of the Turkish Orff Association in 2015 and in 2016 he concluded a professional development course for teaching teachers.

With the scholarship by “Güher & Süher Pekinel for “Orff Music Education in Anatolia”, Sencer participated in the 2016-2017 Special Course: “Advanced Studies in Music and Dance Education” at the Mozarteum University/ Orff Institute. Since then he has been giving seminars in Turkey for the Anatolia Orff Education mentored and led by Güher & Süher Pekinel Anatolia Orff-Schulwerk Elemental Music and Dance.

Since 2001 he is teaching as a qualified educator in different pre-school institutions and Kocaeli B.B. Conservatory. He is also an academician in Kocaeli University Fine Arts Faculty Music Department.

Sıtkı Sencer ÖZBAY
