Yusuf Çelik - Cellist

Yusuf Celik was born in 1991. He started his music education in the class of Ayşe Pelin Coşkun at Mersin University State Conservatory, and completed his education in the class of Alexander Baillie at HFK Bremen, Germany, as part of the "Young Musicians on World Stages" system, created and mentored by Güher and Süher Pekinel. He received his Master's degree in Oliver Wille's Chamber Music class at Hannover HFM with the "Saygun Quartet". He worked with the Jerusalem Quartet and Casals Quartet in Chamber Music festivals in the Netherlands and Germany and gave concerts. He was deemed worthy of awards such as first place, second place, third place and the "Ahmed Adnan Saygun Special Award" in many national and international competitions, as well as the TEV Outstanding Achievement Art Scholarship. He studied with master cellists such as Natalia Gutman, Tobias Kühne, Claus Kangiesser Walfgang Boetcher. He took part in concerts as a soloist with many orchestras in Turkey and Germany. Çelik still continues his musical life as the Presidential Symphony Orchestra artist and the "Ankara Chamber Orchestra founding artist".
